MiniMade Limited ("MiniMade", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through minimade.clothing. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, phone (optional).
- Children's fit profiles: first name, birth date, measurements you choose to record.
- Order data: shipping address, items, payment confirmations (we do not store full card numbers).
- Maker data: for sellers — business details, contact info, photographs you submit.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, cookies strictly necessary for the site to work.
2. Lawful bases
- Contract — to create your account and fulfil orders.
- Consent — for marketing emails and the storage of children's measurement data, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — to retain invoice and tax records for 6 years.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the platform secure and improve our services.
3. Children's data
MiniMade is intended for use by parents and guardians. Children's measurement profiles are stored only at the parent's request, encrypted at rest, and deleted when you delete your account or the relevant profile.
4. Sharing
We share order details with the maker fulfilling your order, our payment processor (Stripe), and our hosting and email infrastructure providers. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Where data leaves the UK or EEA it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy decision.
6. Retention
Account and fit data is kept until you delete your account. Order records are kept for 6 years for tax. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Manage these from your account or email privacy@minimade.clothing. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
8. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies (session, security, cart). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
